The two weeks of the Fifth Annual
Shakespeare in
Library Park were stormy weather, but we performed three out of the
scheduled six nights to large crowds under beautiful skies. Emily
Mattina directed Twelfth Night to
feature many actors from our classes and community, as well as six
veteran professional resident artists. A chorus of angels and
demons guided this imaginative comedy under the glow of
the stars and the Republican-American clock tower. The crowds
were great, the cast was strong, and we could not have done it without
the sponsors. We celebrated each beautiful evening
(which may have been the only ones of the two weeks) with an
after-party at a local restaurant. Please
enjoy the
photos, below, from our 2009 Shakespeare in Library Park production of Twelfth Night. Stay tuned to
this web page for information on the 2010 Shakespeare in Libary Park,
as it becomes available.
