Shakesperience
performed the
Fourth Annual
Shakespeare in Library Park during the last two weekends in June, 2008.
Record audiences enjoyed
a picnic with
Hamlet, Shakespeare’s
symphony of words under the direction of Emily Mattina.
The performance featured many actors from our community, as well as six
of our most veteran professional resident artists. Tony, Danielle,
Andrew, Tyler, Anthony, and Ryan share more than 20 Shakesperience
contracts between them!
Picnic suppers were supplied on-site by Grand Street’s
JoBa Café ( 203-591-1801) and following
each night’s performance, the audience, cast and company met at
Drescher's Restaurant,
Vintage, or Crossroads Cantina for post-show food and drink.
Unique lighting, scenery, and sound designs,
the Clock Tower, and 6 magnificent summer evenings provided the perfect
backdrop for our innovative production.
